trump to appoint council to review fema's future

A blizzard of news has many emergency managers wondering – What comes next? Well, this comes next…

On Sunday via Executive Order Trump establishes council to review federal disaster response agency

Here’s a quote from the article linked above, “The order calls for the establishment of council made up of relevant federal leaders and "distinguished individuals" selected by Trump from outside government. Trump called on the council to hold its first public meeting within 90 days and submit a report to him within 180 days of the first meeting.”

A quote I like is this one, “The only person who likes “change” is a baby.”  Who are the distinguished individuals? Former FEMA Administrators (Hopefully)? Politicians (Probably)? Academics (likely not).

I just know this can be opening up Pandora’s Box to changes that no one could have predicted and might or might not be helpful. Another quote, “The future is not what it was supposed to be.”
