What price is progress? Watching your own home catch fire and start burning on your own doorbell camera has to be one of the things that most people were not thinking about when they installed various security systems at their homes.

This is the first time I’ve read about this, but likely not the last time. The predominance of self-installed and monitored security systems that incorporate cameras and fire/smoke alarms will unfortunately provide a video record of destruction we won’t be able to get out of our mind.
