It is a Debby Downer Tropical Storm

Tropical Storm Debby is certainly going to be a “downer” for the East Coast in the coming days. It is currently projected to drench most of the seaboard with rain, lots of rain. It is a slow-moving storm with the opportunity to soak many low lying areas. As predicted days ago, it is the type of “hurricane” that is fed by warmer ocean temperatures that allows for much higher precipitation as it moves overland.

It would appear that one day record rainfall days will occur in many places.

This 2024 Hurricane Season is predicted to be very active, and Debby is only the second hurricane of the season, with the upcoming months of the year being those when we expect to experience even more storm activity.

I also noticed in one story that areas of Florida that were impacted last year by a hurricane and were just recovering from it, had flooding reoccurring in the same region again from Debby. Maybe, it is time to move or do something differently?  Elevate?
