Netflix Documentary, Fire in Paradise
I just finished watching a Netflix documentary, Fire in Paradise It is only about 40 minutes long.
The documentary does not go into great detail about the Camp Fire as it is officially known, but it is a story told by the people who experienced the fire. Some first responders and some citizens, teachers and a few kids. It is worth watching.
I believe it is worth watching since it gives the viewer a sense for what it was like to be trapped in the inferno that did destroy a town of 26,000 people and impacted double that number of people in the region. Certainly, there has to be a great deal of PTSD being experienced by anyone touched by the fire, that did kill 85 people, destroyed 18,000 structures and was the deadliest fire in California in 100 years.
